"Well, we are here in our new house with the most amazing view of the
jungle right out our back door. Someone has taken a lot of time carving
this rock and flower garden out of the jungle that exists behind our
house. There is a hot tub built into a small building
at the end of a path that is made of a wooden bridge and stone slabs.
The house was built on a steep hill so the upper level
is held up in the back by beams that support the house and the lower
level is carved out of the hill and is ground level in the back.
The builders must have had a vision of what they wanted because I have
never seen anything like this house. There is a lava rock
spiral staircase in the middle of the house leading downstairs. The
front door opens onto a wide staircase leading downstairs.
The upstairs is built around this hole that contains the spiral and the
wide stairway downstairs."
"The downstairs is a huge room with a sunken area that has two futons and a fireplace and a rock garden that was meant to have water flowing into it. The rock garden is about 12 by 15 so its a big one. There are windows on three sides of the downstairs that look out on the garden and the jungle behind it. There are three large trees (4 foot diameter vine covered) along with palm and others. The property is edged with a thick hedge of shrubs that varies in height from 7 ft. in the front of the house to 15 or more ft. in the back." Best Regards! Jack |
